Year 4 had a fantastic time on their Greek Day at the Museum of Kent Life. Many of the children (and the adults) dressed up in full Greek costume, and began by walking down to Archbishops Palace. Here we boarded the Kentish Lady riverboat and set sail for the Museum.
We had lots of fun during our Greek Day. We attended workshops such as: Greek Life, Arachne’s Web, Magic to Medicine and Gods of the theatre. We learnt how to hold a sword and how to create a formation to charge into battle. We even enjoyed a tractor ride around the Museum grounds.
At the end of a fabulous day we once again boarded the riverboat for our return journey to school.
Watch out for our recounts – coming soon!
