At South Borough Primary School we believe every child matters and they are at the heart of all we do. We aim to ensure they can read, write and calculate effectively when they leave us. Together with that we aim to instil a sense of pride, tolerance, determination and perseverance to help them in all aspects of life. Good behaviour for learning is key for children to make good progress.
The aim of the South Borough Primary School core values is to ensure all children understand what is expected of them, inside and outside of school and to give them a visual reminder of what they can do to make South Borough Primary School a happy, safe and positive place to learn. The core values allow children to develop skills to ‘learn how to learn things they do not yet know’.
Thank you very much to WW Martin for their kind donation of £100 worth of books to our school, to celebrate World Book Day on 1st March. The children have loved reading the new books in our cosy book corners!
After Easter we will be moving to ParentPay for everything (except Kingswood Yr 6 Trip & Yr 4 swimming). All other payments: uniform, trips, Yr 3 swimming, breakfast club, aftercare club and nursery extra hours should be paid on ParentPay.
A variety of sports activities have been arranged for the children to take part in during the afternoon on the playground. Please send your child to school wearing sports clothing and footwear on Friday. We are hoping to raise lots of money!
