At South Borough Primary School we believe every child matters and they are at the heart of all we do. We aim to ensure they can read, write and calculate effectively when they leave us. Together with that we aim to instil a sense of pride, tolerance, determination and perseverance to help them in all aspects of life. Good behaviour for learning is key for children to make good progress.
The aim of the South Borough Primary School core values is to ensure all children understand what is expected of them, inside and outside of school and to give them a visual reminder of what they can do to make South Borough Primary School a happy, safe and positive place to learn. The core values allow children to develop skills to ‘learn how to learn things they do not yet know’.

South Borough Primary School is a caring school community. Governors, staff, parents and children work together to create a safe, stimulating, learning environment in which every individual has the opportunity to be the best they can be.
We value our strong relationship with parents and carers. We believe that in order to truly create the best outcomes for children the relationship between home and school must be based on the principles of care, integrity, trust and mutual respect.
